37. Moving On

Because i have kinda been stuck on generation 3 for
what seems like forever i decided to age up Jovan

The whole family celebrated

"Whoo Hooo!!" Jovan shouted

There we have it Young Adult Jovan all ready for university

He is looking very smart there

Everyone then sat down to enjoy some cake,
Sean decided to have only a smaller piece.

Outside it began to pour, i felt really bad for Alida

Inside however Jovan was filling out his university Aptitude test

He quickly showed Carl
" i got a perfect 400/400 for technology
 and a partial scholarship. i can't wait" Jovan exclaimed

"Well try not to study to hard Jov,
Uni is also about having fun" Carl said

"Don't worry about me, i will be fine" Jovan replied

"Here i figured you could use this" Carl said handing
 over a wrapped gift

"Thanks Carl, i will" Jovan said

"See ya mate, take care" Carl said giving his brother a hug

Carl's present was the backpack he took on his trip to
France, it will sure come in handy when
 lugging all those books around.

"Take care son, think ahead and don't get
 to caught up with everything" Nigel said

"Will do" Jovan replied

"Goodbye Son" Nigel said this was hard for him to see Jovan go.

"Bye Dad" Jovan said

He then grabbed his new backpack and headed out to college

Due to the storm Alida was getting frightened

She was terrified as the thunder rumbled and lightning struck

Kaylee had to go outside in the rain to calm her down

"There we go, all better now" Kaylee said gently

"It's just a little storm, you will be fine" Kaylee said

With that she headed inside

and Alida found some shelter from the rain under this large tree

To make everyone feel better the next morning
Laila baked some of her mothers waffles for everyone

Her mothers recipe was a huge success

Carl even went back for seconds

"How you do that with something as basic
as waffles i will never know" Carl said

"Well, it's mums recipe i just follow her advice" Laila said

"Well i love it all the same" Carl said

That night Laila began to feel very sick, she managed to run
 outside before she vomited

"Laila, are you alright" Carl said quickly coming to her side

"I don't know" Laila said

"Well i have an idea, come on inside before you freeze" Carl said

Once inside Carl did the one thing he knew would help
"GRANDMA, CAN YOU COME DOWNSTAIRS" he yelled

As requested Kaylee then made her way downstairs

"Sorry to bother you, but i figured you could help. Laila has
 been feeling really sick the last few days and just
sorta threw up outside so i figured we
should get your expertise" Carl explained

"Good idea" Kaylee replied

"So tell me in your own words what you fell" Kaylee
 said turning to Laila

"Well, i have been feeling really sick the last few days, vomiting
and such as well as none of my clothes seem to fit
 as well as before. i figure it was just one to many
 servings of waffles but now i am not so sure" Laila said

"Well based on that, and alot of past experience as a
mother and grandmother i can confidently say
that the most likely cause is that you,
 my dear, are pregnant" Kaylee

"Congratulations" Kaylee said

"A.. Are you sure" Laila stammered

"Fairly sure, however you should probably go to the hospital
tomorrow to get the final say" Kaylee said feeling
the little bump on Laila's belly

"Wow, this is amazing" Carl said reaching down to feel for himself

"We are going to be parents" He said

Well there we go, finally about to get into generation 4. If you use Jovan let me know, it would be cool to know what her gets up to. i will be however also writing up a post for Jovan's after radford life as i did for Briyanna however it might take awhile. i don't think i will get another post out before Christmas so Merry Christmas. Again still looking for names despite lots of suggestions i still haven't found the right ones yet. Merry Christmas
