42. Final Farewell

It's official i spend too much time getting Hamish and Elsa to
 play together but they are just so cute.

Awwww...

However as i was completely entranced with
the kids my camera flew to Kaylee....

Sparkles flew around her as her time had at last come

Everyone ran upstairs to watch the inevitable but there was
nothing they could do but stand and watch

"Mum.... no..." Isabella said in-between tears

Grim was right on time

For some reason Hamish's biggest issue was the broken TV...
you need to work out your priorities 

Kaylee's ghost moved as she prepared to face grim, whilst her
 family stood there grief stricken 

"Please... Please" Kaylee tried to plead for her life but the
Grim Reaper is not one to be bartered with

With a flick of his wrist Kaylee Radford was no more

Does he not have anything else to be doing
 besides taking pictures of my sims, i mean seriously

apparently not...
"Why do you always wear black...
you could wear purple?" the curious Hamish questioned

"Seriously Kid" Grim replied obviously not happy with his fashion
 choices being critiqued by a child

Kaylee's grave was placed next to Sean's.
together again

For the first time their bed sat empty

Kaylee had left a half finished painting on the easel

Carl and Issy went and just stared as they tried to come
to terms with what had happened to them

Issy collapsed into a fit of sobs in her son's arms
"i just can't believe they're both gone" She wept

"I know mum.. I know" Carl said attempting to
calm his distressed mother

"So what are we going to do with their old room" Carl asked

"I... I don't know Carl i.. i just can't" Issy said on the verge of further tears

"Hey... calm down. why don't we all get some
sleep and talk more in the morning ok?"

"Ok.."
and with that Issy headed to bed.

Before Carl could get some sleep he was intercepted by Hamish
"Dad i don't want to sleep with Elsa...
 she cries all the time" He complained

"Well son through the magic of sims i
shall build one for you before bed"
i know it doesn't really work like that but hey this is the sims.

"Cool thanks dad"

Tada, through the magic of sims i present to you Hamish's Bedroom

He seems to enjoy it.

With that all settled Carl was finally able to get some sleep.

Elsa woke the whole family up nice and early.
the joys of parenting

Whilst his father dealt with his sister Hamish was
 off on his first day of school

Poor Issy was still having trouble coming to terms with what
had happened over the last few days

Nigel did his best to comfort and support her

"You know what, lets get out of here. Check out the town a
bit like we used to" Nigel said "Come on i insist"
He wasn't taking no for an answer

"ok, i guess it might be a bit of fun" Isabella said reluctantly

So with that Issy and Nigel headed out on the town

Back home however Laila was starting to feel a bit crook

"ok, i must have eaten way to much birthday cake over
the past few days" Laila thought to herself

However sick she may feel poor Elsa still needed attention

Laila put some cartoons on to keep her entertained
for a bit whilst she rested on the couch

Poor Alida has been stuck inside because off all the snow

"argh why do i even have to do this stuff, i doesn't make
any sense" Hamish complained as he sat down after school.

"Let me help" Carl said as he began to help his son

Whilst Carl helped Hamish learn maths Laila was upstairs
teaching Elsa how to walk
"there we go now come to mama" she cooed

Elsa just sat down, she was a bit harder to teach than her
brother was and didn't pick up skills as quickly

However after a time she eventually started to get the hang of it.

Nigel and Issy didn't find much in terms of Nightlife in
 Monte Vista so they settled on seeing a movie at the theaters

Luckily for Laila, all Elsa's training had made
 her tired and ready for bed

And it wasn't long before she herself was snoring away.
being a mother of two was proving to be quite a challenge

Whilst everyone was sleeping away poor Hamish got
 a rude awakening
"Ahhh GHOST, Grandma Kaylee Don't hurt me!!!!"
poor half asleep Hamish mistook Sean for Kaylee
as he leaped out of bed

"MUM!!! DAD!!! HELP!!!" he yelled as he raced into their room

"What's up Hamish, it's the middle of the night" Carl said

"There's a Ghost in my Bedroom" he explained

"Ok then, lets go have a look shall we"

Carl wondered into Hamish's room
whilst he followed slowly behind

"There's nothing here now mate" Carl said after being forced to
search every nook and cranny of his son's room
"Now off to bed"

"But.. But... are you sure nothings here" Hamish said as he
checked under his bed for the tenth time

"Yes, Now GO TO BED" Carl said forcefully

With much reluctance Hamish was able to eventually
 get back to sleep and all was once again well in the
 Radford household

Hey guys, sadly we lost Kaylee this time round but it is good to know she didn't have to suffer long about the death of her husband before she joined him. I don't really know what to do with their old room but i'm sure something will come up, as always love hearing from you guys it means so much to me.
