39. The Costume Party

I decided that the current size lot was to small but
 i didn't want to leave the house
 so i present the Radford house on a bigger lot.

Sadly it messed with the landscape a bit and poor
 Kaylee go stuck in the ground. a bit of resetsim and
we are all good

Hamish was a clever little man and Carl was
 a great teacher so learning to walk wasn't to much of a task

Issy and Sean were outside for a little father-daughter fun

Whilst, as always, poor Kaylee was left to tidy up

Nigel was on his computer, as per usual, when his phone rang

"Yep, we would love to come. See you tonight" Nigel said happily
It was one of his workmates inviting the whole family
 to a special spooky day costume party

So everyone piled in and headed off.

Everyone was decked out for the occasion.

Laila and Carl teamed up as a little police due, Issy was
 a cheerleader, Nigel a chef, Sean a ninja

And Kaylee was a tiger as well.... awkward...

Nigels workmate thought it was amazing to have the
 Radfords there and kept taking photo's of all of them.

Nigel entertained everyone with some of his tunes

And was soon joined by his workmate.

Sean somehow convinced Kaylee to come  inside and dance 

"Now you be good Hamish" Laila said as she
put him on the floor to play

Everyone was having a great time

However Hamish probably could have used a friend

Grandma Issy to the rescue. Hamish was giggling
 crazily in her arms as she swayed and danced with the music

The host seriously has to stop taking
photo's of my family it's weird

It wasn't long before Hamish started to
get hungry and tired and began to cry. Time to go

"This was great fun, we should do it again sometime" Nigel said

"You are all welcome here anytime, anytime at all" she replied
a little too keenly i think

With quick goodbyes everyone headed off home

However Nigels workmate kinda stalked them home CREEPY

"Hey Nigel, i was thinking we could hang out some more" she said
"Only for a little bit" Nigel replied reluctantly

Laila put Hamish to bed, it was already very late.

It looks like Nigels chef costume wasn't just a costume

Tada sushi for everyone, i forgot
 Nigel had such a high cooking skill

"Hello again Carl, do you think i could have
an autograph" she asked

"Sure" carl replied
 as she handed him a small piece of crumpled paper

The Sushi was a huge hit along with Cake for desert

Poor Nigel had to clean up, well at least it wasn't Kaylee

Slowly people started heading to bed.

But not everyone....

This chick is still here... randomly

They turned on the stereo and started to dance

"I really think it's time for you
 to leave now, see at work" Nigel said

Issy and Nigel quickly after headed to bed

Laila and Carl could have danced all night

They are probably my favourite couple yet.

Eventually Laila and Carl also
went to bed.. in a manner of speaking

Of course the door is locked... why do
my sims always get stalked at random hours of the night

Despite the late night, little hamish
 was up and full of energy bright and early

Laila had to get up and tend to him

Laila was up making breakfast for everyone

I decided it wasn't fair to make my sims clean
up when they are so rich so Sean hired a maid

Little Hamish might grow
 up to be a music prodigy..you never know

Because the house has so much space now i
added a little horse shelter/barn out the back

Kaylee and Laila loved it

I guess my family is special, we get two maids

Kaylee decided to help Laila with her riding

Carl and Hamish were still upstairs
having a father-son teaching session

Sean still works out and just maxed out his skill, after a severe
injury and lengthy career in the sports industry
you think he would just stop

I am fairly sure we pay the maid to clean, not take photo's

Whilst putting Alida in the stable Laila started vomiting,
 another baby on the way???

Kaylee loved spending time with her great-grandson it really
meant a lot to her

Sorry Laila i want a girl so eat watermelons!

"Hey Issy, i just wanted to say that i know i am getting
older and i don't know how much longer i have left
 but i am very proud of the woman you have become and the boy
 that you have raised, i couldn't ask for a better
 daughter. I love you Issy" Sean said tearing up

"Oh dad" Issy said giving him a hug

"But i'm sure you still have heaps of time left,
no need to be saying goodbyes just yet" Issy said

Despite what she had said to her father issy still was
worried about the time she had left with her parents and was
 conscious about treasuring every little moment

"Thanks for helping me with Hamish Issy" Kaylee said,
she knew Issy was just trying to spend more time with
her and she was grateful for the extra pair of hands

When Nigel got home that night Isabella went to speak to her husband.
"Nigel, I...I am really scared about losing mum and dad" she
said on the verge of tears

"Oh Issy, don't worry about it. Their times will come when they come
 but you need to dig deep and enjoy the time you have left" Nigel said
 giving her a hug "remember i'm here for you always"

Hello again, i know i am really slack but school is being a pain at the moment and i barely have a spare minute to write let alone play. i managed to get a few post's worth on pics the other day and will hopefully post again before the end on the month - time permitting. As always love hearing your comments and Idea's.
