23. The School Project

Even on snow days poor Kaylee still has to go to work.

Missing lots of school means having lots of work to catch
 up on so Carl worked on his homework

After he had finished he went to see his dad who
was busy on the piano
"Dad, can i ask you something" Carl said over the music

Nigel stopped playing and stood up
"Yeah sure, what do you need" Nigel said

"Can you take me to the library, i have this project at school
 to do on another country so i need to get some information on
France, Lail's been helping me but he can't give
me all the answers" Carl said

"Ok, i will take you. It will be good to flick through
 some books for a while" Nigel said

They hopped in Nigel's green car and drove off

Carl went straight to the computer to type up some notes 

Whilst Nigel sat down with a good book...
in the kids section

after a few hours they left and by this stage spring
 had set in, it was raining and the snow was all gone

Back home Sean was playing with the console -
clever Sean didn't notice that the TV wasn't on.

Yes Zeke we are all scared

"Grandma why did the snow have to go away, now i can't
 make Snowmen" Carl asked when she got back from work

"Seasons change Carl and i think you just miss having snow
 days, now can i have a hug" Kaylee teased

"of course" Carl said giving his grandma a big hug

After that Nigel went to chat with Lail again

"Mum the sink in the bathroom is busted again" Issy complained

"Calm down, your dad will fix it when he gets home" Kaylee said

"ok then" said Issy

To pass the time she spent time playing with Zeke

"Did Lail give you some good information for
 your project Carl" Kaylee asked
"Yeah, i'm going to type it up now" Carl said

With that Carl headed back to the computer

he worked for a few hours before going to bed

by this stage Sean was home
"Dad, the sink in the bathroom is broken
 can you please fix it" Issy said

"Ok Issy, but then i'm going to bed" Sean said
poor Sean looks really tired

After a while Sean finished and came back
"The sink is fixed, all you need to do is clean up
the puddles ok?" Sean said before going to bed

As usual Issy ignored that last bit and went to bed

The first thing Carl did in the morning was work on his project

"It's good that Carl is putting a lot of effort into
his project" Kaylee said 

"Yeah i guess, but i think he is secretly planning his
dream holiday to France"  Issy joked

"Yeah maybe" Kaylee laughed

Later that day because the sun was out Carl
decided to go outside and play, whilst playing
he came across a daisy patch

"Mum, i found these outside for you" Carl
said handing the flowers over

She put them up on the desk in a Vase

after that Carl joined Sean who was working out
"am i doing it right?" he asked

"Your supposed to stretch first so you don't
 hurt yourself" Sean said

"Nah, i'm good" Carl said

after a few minutes Carl sat down on the couch

"That's a lot harder then it looks" Carl said 

"Hey dad, i was wondering if i could write a book" Carl asked

"Sure, if you do a good job we can send it in to be published"

With that Carl ran to the computer

I gave him a Ipod thing so he can listen to music as well

hey guys this is a house I made for the Radford's in Monte Vista they won't be moving in for a while so i included a nursery let me know what you think. - also i apologize for the bad photo's it was really hard to get a good angle on the rooms especially the bathrooms
