22. A Friend from France

Before i start i want to give a big thank you to
Mellowyellow for gifting me this amazing Hairstyle.
I love it and can't wait to use it. now onto the post

Married life was suiting Nigel and Isabella fine and due to the snow
Work and School was often cancelled leaving
time for family bonding 

Sean, Kaylee and Nigel all received holiday bonus's and with the
extra money i was able to add a few new items to the house
an Easel for Kaylee, a Treadmill for Sean and
 a beautiful Piano for Nigel.

Carl also got a Video game console which he loved
"Thanks Dad for spending your money on me" Carl said

"Carl, you are my son who else am i supposed to
 spend money on" Nigel said "Now tell me how to play"
The boys had a nice morning of male bonding

"The snow has eased up a bit today, did you still want to go
to the  festival Carl?" Issy asked

"Yeah, just let me finish the level" Carl said

As soon as they got out of the car Carl ran straight to the
skating rink follow by his grandparents

"Hey Issy, my Dad is throwing a party tonight and he was
wondering if we would be able to attend. i said i would
 talk to you first" Nigel said

"Sure tell your dad we will be there, it should be fun" Issy replied

After there talk Nigel went skating - he wasn't very good at it

Carl it seems is just as adventurous as his cousin, quickly
ditching the ice rink for the Half pipe 

He seems to be just as good

Maybe not as good

Ouch... that's going to leave a bruise

After a while it was time for Nigel's fathers party so they all jumped
in the car and were off

For some reason he decided to have everyone wear there swimmers
which was crazy as the pool was freezing cold

Nigel confronted his dad about this
"Dad. isn't it a bit cold for swimming" Nigel asked cautiously 

"Come on, i would swim all the time before the snow
and i don't intend to stop just because of
a little weather" he said firmly

"Well ok then dad" Nigel said he was getting scared his father
was different then he remembered ."Hey did you want
to come meet my son, he should be around here somewhere"

"Sooo, your my other grandfather huh" Carl said
 "so whats with the whole vampire thing i can seriously
smell the blood on you"
it would appear the Carl figured it out before Nigel

"You better watch it kid or maybe you will be my next meal,
 you got that" Nigel's father threatened

"Come on i'm not afraid of you, i mean seriously my cousin
does better threats" Carl said, he was enjoying seeing the fury
build up behind his grandfathers eyes, he knew that nothing will
 happen to him whilst Nigel was there

Nigel however didn't like the way this was going and interjected
"Carl, why don't we go find your mum and Grandma and go home.
 it's getting late" Nigel said quickly

Carl gave his grandfather a last death stare before following
 his father

They soon left as Nigel was eager to leave

the second they walked through the door Carl ran straight to the
TV and  turned on his console.

"Carl, you have been playing that to long. Its time for Bed" Issy said

"Yes mum" Carl said defeated

before sulking into his room

As per usual Nigel won't sleep so he must clean
!Clean Slave Clean!

The first thing Carl did in the morning was..
yep you guessed, it play on his Console

"Carl come get some food, now" Sean said

"You really shouldn't play that all day, go meet some people
 make friends" Sean said

"I meet people and i have made a friend"  Nigel defended

"Who?" Sean said

"His username is Lail624, we play together online" Carl said

With that Carl ran over to the computer to chat with his new
 found friend Lail

The snow was hard for Zeke as he couldn't go outside to play,
so Nigel would entertain him indoors

Issy was busy watching the latest weather forcast

"It looks like the snow will stop anyday now" Issy said 

"That will be good, it means that Carl we be at school on
a regular basis again. hopefully he makes some friends
other than his mysterious Lail friend" Nigel said

Lail had to get off the chat so Carl played with Zeke for a while

Issy decided to make dinner for everyone

all these snow days have made Carl lazy so he quickly
finished his homework before dinner

Whilst at dinner Carl had a few questions for his grandpa
"You went to France right grandpa?, did you ever
 go to Champs Les Sims?" Carl asked

"Yes i went to France when i was younger, but no i didn't go
 to Champs Les Sims  we were nearby but we never
 went into the town. Why do you ask?" Sean replied

"That's where Lail lives he told me on chat, would
you take me so i could meet him" Carl asked

"Maybe, when you are older perhaps. Carl be careful with people
you meet on the internet you never know who they
really are" Sean warned "now off to bed"

Carl did as he was told and went straight to bed

"Nigel, i'm getting concerned about Carl his friend Lail
might not be all he wants them to be. I don't want
him getting hurt" Isabella said 

"I know what you mean, but if Carl does decide to go to France
 we will make certain that  he will be safe." Nigel said

After that Nigel and Isabella sat down to watch a movie

Hey guys i am really really really sorry about the lack of posts i kinda got a little lazy over the holidays. However oi hope you liked the post and as always i am looking for ideas/feedback ect. so anything is welcome. I also want to give another big Thank you to MellowYellow for the hairstyle.
